Question

Is it normal for a two-month-old baby not to lift its head? I’ve heard a saying about babies lifting their heads at two months, but my baby is now two months old and still can’t lift its head. I’m not sure if this is normal.

Answer

It is normal for a two-month-old baby not to lift its head, as they are still very young. Generally, babies between 2 to 3 months old start to learn to lift their heads, but due to individual differences, the timing can vary. If the baby doesn’t lift its head, you can do some training at home, such as having the baby lean against your shoulder to see the scenery outside and spark interest. Or use toys to encourage the baby to lift its head, teaching it to gradually lift its head.
