Question
Can ultrasound diagnose pediatric hepatoblastoma?
Answer
Due to the lower resolution of B-ultrasound, it is typically used for examining the thoracic and abdominal areas and for fetal examinations, so B-ultrasound alone cannot be used to diagnose pediatric hepatoblastoma. During hospital examinations, doctors will first recommend a routine CT scan followed by magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). In the early or middle stages of the disease, there may be no obvious characteristics, with symptoms such as low-grade fever and anorexia appearing in the later stages. After surgical removal, attention should be paid to daily care. Pay attention to the rationality of diet and regularly visit the hospital for check-ups.
