Question

What to do if your baby refuses to drink milk during the day but must have it at night?

Answer

My baby is 18 months old and currently has irregular eating habits, showing a strong attachment to breast milk and little interest in food. At this age, babies typically have three meals of complementary food and three servings of milk. If the baby doesn’t drink milk during the day, could it be that they’re eating too much complementary food and can’t finish? You can appropriately reduce the amount of complementary food. Babies are still small and need to consume more milk. It’s quite normal to have a milk drink before bedtime; in my family, we always have a milk drink before going to sleep.
