Question

Can I add some juice to the formula milk when preparing it for my 3-month-old baby? Do I need medical treatment? How long will it take for the condition to improve? Please help me!

Answer

Milk is for drinking milk, and juice is for drinking juice. I suggest that you separate the feeding situations for your baby. My baby was around 4 months old when we started adding complementary foods. You can try feeding your baby a small amount of thin rice porridge. At first, it must be in small quantities; do not force your baby to eat and be patient. Start with two spoons a day and gradually increase to two spoons twice a day after a period of adaptation. Rice porridge can be prepared with breast milk, so your baby won’t resist. Alternatively, you can use winter melon water, cucumber water, corn juice, tomato juice, or make a small pot of vegetable water every day. This is great for both flavor and nutrition. Various vegetable waters should be chopped, boiled, and filtered. Egg yolk soup, vegetable puree, meat puree, fish puree, and more.
