Question
Can a baby of three and a half months stand up? Do I need to take them to the hospital? How long will it take to improve? Please help me!
Answer
At this stage, the child’s bones have not yet fully developed, and premature standing can lead to a curvature. Although you may not notice any issues now, it is not beneficial for future skeletal development. Children should do things at their own pace; there is no need to rush. To illustrate, imagine filling a bag designed to hold 500 grams with 550 grams of sand; the bag may not leak in the short term, but eventually, it will break. This analogy may not be perfect, but it conveys the same principle.
