Question
Can human albumin be used for pediatric treatment? Do you need to go to the hospital for treatment? How long will it take to see improvement?
Answer
Human albumin is not suitable for pediatric use. Some people mistakenly believe that human albumin can enhance immunity, which is a misconception. As a mother of a child with a weak constitution, I was advised by the doctor not to use human albumin as a treatment. Albumin is primarily used to treat hypoproteinemia, such as that caused by liver cirrhosis, and during the recovery period after major surgery, as well as for malnutrition due to other reasons.
