Question

I’ve recently noticed that many children are showing signs of premature puberty, and I’m worried that my child might also experience it. Are there any ways or remedies to prevent premature puberty?

Answer

Reduce the intake of foods that may contain high levels of hormones: pollen, honey, royal jelly, chicken embryo, silkworm larvae, fast-growing animal products, out-of-season fruits, soybeans and their products, clams, Cordyceps, adult supplements like ginseng, oral liquids that promise “growth and strength,” and “high-hormone” foods like poultry. Avoid these foods as well as neck meats and fried foods; they are meant for adult consumption. Be cautious with laundry detergents and cosmetics. Avoid exposure to sexual content in movies, TV, books, and newspapers. Limit exposure to bright lights, such as sleeping with the lights off at night. Engage in regular exercise, maintain a balanced diet, and avoid high-calorie foods to prevent obesity and overweight.
