These children often show carelessness in completing tasks, seem inattentive to parental instructions, appear to listen but actually do not understand. They tend to lack persistence in their work, easily give up halfway or finish tasks halfheartedly. Homework is often delayed, and they frequently interrupt the learning process with various reasons such as drinking water, eating, or using the bathroom, leading to a significant extension in the time needed to complete assignments. Some children may also experience staring into space without realizing that they are not aware of the teacher’s questions.
