Question

My baby is almost four years old, and since she got sick in March, she’s been frequently wetting her diapers, but each time only a little, just the size of her palm. I suspect it might be enuresis. What should I do, experts?

Answer

If a doctor’s examination finds that the child has a urinary tract infection, antibiotics should be used immediately to control the infection. Additionally, if the child’s bladder capacity is found to be small, bladder function training can be performed. Encourage the child to drink more water during the day and try to extend the interval between urinations. Encourage the child to interrupt urination in the middle, count from 1 to 10, and then finish urinating to improve the control ability of the bladder sphincter and gradually increase bladder capacity.
