Hi there, if a normal newborn’s jaundice persists for more than 30 days, their bilirubin levels should not exceed 7. If it does, it should be considered pathological jaundice. For the baby, you can give them a moderate amount of hibiscus seeds and take them out to bask in the sun. When sunbathing, please protect the baby’s eyes. Additionally, it’s important to rule out other possible causes, such as jaundice caused by scabies.
