Question
Is it normal for a child to wet the bed occasionally? Recently, the weather has been quite cold, and the child sleeps deeply at night. To my surprise, I found out that the child had wet the bed when I woke up in the morning. Has anyone else experienced this?
Answer
A baby occasionally wetting the bed might be due to high activity levels during the day, deep sleep at night, and not feeling the need to urinate. This situation is usually a physiological phenomenon, but if it occurs frequently, consider adjusting the baby’s activity level and nighttime urination habits to avoid affecting health. Persistent bedwetting may require further attention to rule out the possibility of enuresis.
