Question
What are the early symptoms of children with cerebral palsy?
Answer
Cerebral palsy, also known as cerebral palsy syndrome, is a non-progressive syndrome of brain damage, usually occurring due to various causes within the first month of birth. Its main features include central motor dysfunction, abnormal muscle tone, abnormal posture and reflexes, and may be accompanied by epilepsy, intellectual disability, language disorders, visual and auditory impairments. Comprehensive rehabilitation treatment includes physical therapy, such as gross motor, fine motor, balance, and coordination training; physical therapy, including nerve stimulation therapy, heat therapy, hydrotherapy; as well as occupational therapy and ability training. In urban areas, families with better economic conditions can choose to receive treatment at specialized hospitals or clinics, but the effectiveness varies from individual to individual.
