Question

My nephew was incredibly cute when he was born, but when I went back this year, I noticed he didn’t seem as lively as a normal child and his speech was unclear. It was only later that my sister-in-law mentioned it was due to a brain tumor. I want to know what the symptoms of pediatric brain tumors are?

Answer

The symptoms of pediatric brain tumors include language disorders, intellectual impairment, and posture disorders. If the infant is very young, these symptoms may not manifest. Symptoms of brain tumors in newborns may not include smiling, lifting their head, or clenching their fingers within 2-3 months; not rolling over by 4-5 months; not sitting up by 8 months; and not being able to grasp objects or put their hands in their mouths. Improving joint mobility, adjusting muscle tone, enhancing motor control, coordination, strength, and endurance can improve joint function and strengthen self-care abilities. The occurrence of a brain tumor can lead to many symptoms such as motor disorders, sensory impairments, and language disorders, and this is just one of them. It is very important to treat pediatric brain tumors promptly and not to act blindly. I suggest you go to a regular hospital for examination.
