Question

What Are the Early Symptoms of Pediatric Leukemia?

Answer

The early symptoms of leukemia are very atypical, and many times, parents may overlook them. For example, children may become lazy, not interested in activities, and have reduced appetite. Subsequently, they may experience progressive pallor, bone and joint pain, irregular fever, bleeding from the skin and gums, and eventually, the enlargement of the liver, spleen, and lymph nodes, along with systemic failure and weight loss. If any of these suspicious symptoms are detected, parents should immediately take their child to the hospital for examination.
