Question

My baby often vomits after drinking formula milk. How should I handle the issue of baby vomiting?

Answer

Baby vomiting can be caused by factors such as the stomach being in a horizontal position, small stomach capacity, overfeeding or improper feeding, indigestion, and gastroesophageal reflux. It is recommended not to lay the baby down immediately after feeding, instead, let the baby lean on the adult’s shoulder and gently pat the back to expel gas before lying down flat. Also, avoid vigorous activity, control the feeding speed, prevent excessive air intake, and ensure warmth.
