Question

Do one-year-old babies start walking?

Answer

Generally speaking, one-year-old babies begin to walk. For children between 14 and 15 months, walking becomes more stable. Not all babies will walk at 14 months, and this doesn’t necessarily mean there are developmental delays or brain development issues. Every child has individual differences in their developmental process. If the baby was not born with any issues like asphyxia or oxygen deficiency, and their other motor and intellectual developments are within the normal range, there is usually no major concern. It’s important to gradually train the baby’s motor skills to help them learn to walk gradually.
