Question
From a young age, I’ve had slow reactions and unclear thinking when playing cards. I can’t remember the cards, and I forget the last round as soon as it’s over. In memory, I’ve only played well a couple of times. At work, I also often don’t know what to say to my colleagues, always a step behind, and I’m not sure if it’s ADHD?
Answer
Hello, based on your description, this situation does not seem to match the characteristics of ADHD. Are you experiencing this problem only when playing cards, or are there similar issues in other aspects? If you have difficulty only in remembering the cards, it may just be a lack of experience in this area. If you have problems in multiple aspects, it may be related to intelligence. It is recommended that you take an intelligence test, such as the Stanford-Binet Scale or the Wechsler Intelligence Scale, or seek psychological counseling for a more accurate assessment and advice.
