Answer

Hypospadias is a congenital abnormality of the male urethral opening. The urethral opening can be distributed along a straight line from the normal urethral opening to the perineum. Most patients have an inward curvature of the ventral side of the penis. Hypospadias is a common congenital anomaly in the pediatric urinary system. It can cause an abnormal position of the urethral opening, curvature of the penis, urinary abnormalities, and sexual dysfunction, all of which require surgical treatment. Surgical treatment is to restore the penile urinary and sexual functions. If symptoms have not been completely resolved, it is recommended to undergo another surgery around the age of three or four.
