Question

Hello, how do you treat a child’s enteritis?

Answer

Newborn diarrhea, also known as dyspepsia or neonatal enteritis, is one of the most common gastrointestinal problems in newborns. If a newborn frequently has yellow watery or egg-drop soup-like stools, accompanied by blood and mucus, even if the child does not often drink milk, but has an unusual smell, crying, and irritability during defecation, these are common diarrhea caused by pathogenic Escherichia coli. If the stool does not improve after general treatment, or if diarrhea exceeds 10 times or more, the child should be taken to the hospital for treatment.
