Question
A child frequently wriggles their bottom when held in arms, sitting on an adult’s lap, or right before going to sleep. Every day, it’s the same. I don’t know what this condition is called, whether it falls under childhood tic disorder, and how it can be treated?
Answer
If there are no abnormal pathological conditions found during regional examinations, then it can be determined as a tic disorder. Tic disorder is a neurological disorder that usually involves regional limb twitches affecting normal living, learning, and rest. Tic disorder requires treatment, which can be chosen from Western or Chinese medicine methods. It is recommended to undergo a detailed examination before treatment.
