Question

A relative has been diagnosed with a hemangioma, and we want to know how severe this condition is and how to deal with it.

Answer

Hemangioma is a common space-occupying lesion, and typically, its severity is not significant. However, if the hemangioma is located in specific areas of the body or is large in size, it may cause noticeable symptoms. To assess the size and location of the hemangioma, ultrasound or computerized tomography (CT) scans are usually required. If the hemangioma is in an unfavorable position or is large in size, surgical treatment is recommended. After the surgery, patients should rest adequately and closely monitor their physical condition.
