Question
My child is now 3 weeks old and has a very strong sense of rebellion. He does the opposite of what we ask him to do and is extremely active. He is only quiet when sleeping; otherwise, he’s constantly moving. I am seeking advice as a health consultant.
Answer
ADHD, besides being hyperactive, also includes symptoms such as difficulty concentrating and mood swings. If you ask him to do something, he often cannot complete it. I believe your child’s other symptoms are not apparent besides the hyperactivity, and I suggest continuing to observe. It’s recommended to continue observing and consciously cultivate your child’s ability to focus and complete tasks. Adults can work on tasks together with the child. Children with ADHD often have impulsive and stubborn behaviors, with mood fluctuations and some may also have uncoordinated movements.
