Doctor, hello! Nine days ago, the inner side of my left thigh was bitten by a horse. But there was no skin breakage through the clothing (the doctor at the emergency clinic in the UK said there was no skin breakage and treated it as a common closed wound).

At the time of the attack, the bite was extremely painful. A CT scan was performed at a local hospital and showed no abnormalities. Although I was a bit worried, the doctor only required me to get a tetanus shot and administered anti-inflammatory and anti-swelling injections. Rabies vaccine was administered the next day, but I was unsure if serum injections were necessary. Upon returning home, the doctor asked me if I had received serum injections, which made me realize that the wound has now scabbed over with a slight itching sensation, and I have been taking anti-inflammatory shots for a week.
