Question

My child has diarrhea, and I’m not sure what medication or food is best for them. Can anyone knowledgeable please tell me? Should they eat soft foods? Can they eat meat? Could you introduce me to an expert on this topic?

Answer

Carrot Puree: Take a suitable amount of fresh carrots, wash and chop them, then cook or steam them until they are soft. Remove the carrots and mash them with a spoon to form a paste, then mix in a small amount of the cooked carrot water. Save the cooked carrot water for later use. Note: Do not add sugar to the carrot puree as it may worsen the diarrhea. When eating, mix an average of 5 to 10 grams of carrot puree with every 100 milliliters of carrot water. This method can be used as an auxiliary treatment for infant and toddler diarrhea, with significant effects.
