Question

I gave my child Intestinal Worm Cleanse, and she took two pills on an empty stomach. She has a follow-up appointment next week, and she was given four pills. I’m worried that she might not understand and take two pills for two days in a row. What side effects might occur if she takes two pills consecutively, and are they severe?

Answer

Based on the medication regimen, a few patients may experience mild side effects such as headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, dry mouth, and fatigue, but these symptoms usually resolve on their own. The deworming effect may be observed within 3 to 10 days after taking the medication. During the treatment process, some patients may experience varying degrees of adverse reactions, which are related to the number of worms infected, the location of the parasites, and individual reactions.
