Question

My baby is now six and a half months old and is consuming colostrum powder. Should I be concerned about my doctor not recommending long-term use? I’ve heard that if babies take it regularly, it can lead to early development. Is there any truth to this? So, can taking colostrum really cause early development?

Answer

Children should not take colostrum as it can easily lead to precocious puberty. Tonics like Cordyceps, Ginseng, Osmanthus Dried Fruits, Lychee Dried Fruits, Astragalus, and Sapogenin are among the other supplements that often contain higher levels of sex hormones and can trigger precocious puberty. Colostrum is different from human colostrum. Some experts point out that taking it does not enhance the body’s immunity. It is merely a money-making scheme by merchants.
