Question

How many times should you compress during infant resuscitation?

Answer

The CPR rate is approximately 90 compressions per minute. When compressing a child, use two fingers and apply pressure to a depth of one-third of the front and back diameter. The compression time should be shorter than the relaxation time. If there is an object in the child’s mouth, it should be cleaned out first. It’s also important to have a resuscitation bag prepared at home.
