Question

What are the symptoms of ADHD in three-year-olds?

Answer

For three-year-olds, the diagnosis of ADHD is typically not made until after the age of six. If a child remains overly active or inattentive after the age of six and this behavior continues for more than six months, ADHD may be considered. Normally, three-year-olds have shorter attention spans, are easily distracted, and may have excessive behavior but this does not necessarily mean they have ADHD.
