Question
This matter really troubles me; my child wets the bed every night. Even though I just asked her if she needed to go, she said she didn’t, but then she wet the bed after turning over. We took the child to the hospital for a check-up, and all the indicators were normal. So I want to ask the doctor, what are the reasons for a 5-year-old child wetting the bed?
Answer
Enuresis can be related to the following factors: 1. Small bladder, poor function of bladder sphincter, frequent urination during the day, uncomfortable urination, urgency, frequent urination, and some children wearing diapers during the day. 2. Endocrine disorder in the brain, kidney Qi deficiency, wetting between 12 pm and 2 pm. 3. Weak spleen and stomach, insufficient food intake, picky eating, weak physique, easily affected by cold and noisy sounds. 4. Dysfunction of the bladder central nervous system, poor sensitivity, inaccurate transmission of nerve receptor signals, unable to wake up for morning urination, leading to bedwetting.
