Question

How should neonatal jaundice be effectively treated?

Answer

Most newborns will experience physiological jaundice shortly after birth, usually starting within two to three days and disappearing within a week. It is recommended to expose the baby to sunlight and, if necessary, to take Artichoke Yellow Granules orally. If the jaundice persists and deepens beyond the normal range, accompanied by changes in mental state, insufficient feeding, and seizures, blue light therapy is needed to prevent bilirubin encephalopathy, and other symptomatic treatments may be required.
