Question

My child has had this condition since they were very young, and I feel especially sorry for them during each attack. The doctor said it’s an idiopathic epilepsy. I want to know if childhood epilepsy can be cured?

Answer

Currently, if a child has a significant amount of hydrocele in the left testicle, they may experience pain. It is recommended to actively seek treatment to achieve a good therapeutic effect. Some anti-inflammatory medications can be chosen for treatment, and attention should also be paid to adequate rest. A hydrocele refers to excessive fluid accumulation between the inherent tunica of the testicle. In most cases, there is no obvious cause and is referred to as primary hydrocele. The occurrence and development of hydrocele are slow and asymptomatic. However, if the hydrocele is accompanied by inflammation or tumor of the testicle or epididymis, or is caused by filariasis, it is called secondary hydrocele. For this condition, further consultation with a doctor is recommended to obtain a more detailed diagnosis and treatment plan.
