Question

I am a 28-year-old woman and recently noticed that my child seems a bit off. After a check-up, it turned out that they are actually ill. How should I handle my baby’s constipation?

Answer

  1. Firstly, let the baby lie down comfortably. Place one hand on the baby’s upper abdomen below the ribs and slide it down to the legs, then the other hand does the same in a similar manner. Gradually increase the pressure according to the baby’s tolerance.
  2. Secondly, place both thumbs on either side of the navel, moving outwards from the center in a parallel line, applying slow, gentle, round movements to relieve the baby’s bloating and constipation.
  3. Circular Pushing: Gently move in a clockwise direction on the upper part of the baby’s abdomen, drawing half-circles; use the right hand in the same manner to draw complete circles. Alternate hands and repeat this several times. Of course, more gentle massaging and pushing can also help increase activity.
