Question

My baby is 7 weeks old and suddenly has constipation, which is quite disturbing. How should I adjust the baby’s diet for constipation?

Answer

Milk formula can easily cause digestive problems and constipation, so attention should be paid to the consistency when mixing, following the recommended proportions on the milk formula packaging. It is not advisable to feed the baby urgently just because the baby is crying and fussing. Maintain a fixed feeding schedule, feeding every three hours, and give the baby warm water before each meal. Goat milk formula is not suitable for alleviating constipation problems due to its low absorption rate.
