Question

I am 50 years old and have recently experienced irregular periods, abdominal pain, and vaginal bleeding. A friend says these are symptoms of ovarian cancer. Can ovarian cancer be cured?

Answer

Ovarian cancer is a type of malignant tumor with relatively poor prognosis. However, if detected early, there is still a possibility of remission. For patients with ovarian cancer, it is recommended to have a light diet, avoid or eat less high-dose lactose and excessive animal fats. Avoid favoring certain foods and consume more foods rich in fiber, trace elements, and fiber-like substances, such as mushrooms, soybeans, fresh vegetables, winter mushrooms, eels, seaweed, nori, and oysters. Do not consume smoked, moldy, or nitrite-containing foods. Eat less fried, spicy, and pickled foods. Avoid smoking, drug abuse, and overeating.
