How to Treat a 2-Year-Old Child Who Repeatedly Feels Feverish, Coughs, and Wheezes?

A child who repeatedly has a fever, coughs, and wheezes may be suffering from a tracheal infection or pneumonia. It is recommended to consult a doctor for a diagnosis and possibly undergo imaging tests. For mild infections, symptomatic anti-inflammatory medication can be taken; for coughing or excessive phlegm, fresh bamboo decoction oral liquid or children’s Mahan Gan granules can be used. In severe cases, intravenous fluid therapy may be required. Additionally, it is also possible that it is caused by mycoplasma infection, and if diagnosed as such, treatment may require the use of erythromycin or azithromycin antibiotics.
